By becoming a nominee, you bet some of your HDX tokens to help secure the HydraDX network and earn rewards. Unlike running a validator node, the nomination process does not require advanced technical skills, making it a recommended choice for those who are not fully confident about becoming a validator.

The HydraDX Snakenet has a limit of 64 nominators per validating node. When selecting a node for a nomination, make sure that the validator has not reached the maximum number of nominations, otherwise your nomination will be invalid and you will not receive a reward for your bid. The number of nominations for each validator can be found on the Waiting menu tab in the Betting user interface.

It is always worth remembering that the launch of a workable stable node and its maintenance require significant operating costs. Therefore, a lower percentage of the validator’s commission is not always the best choice.
